Learn how Christmas Outreach works by reading through the questions and answers below.
Each Christmas, North Coast comes alongside our community partners to help bless them with an amazing Christmas and meet some of their real needs. We do this by providing them with gifts and monetary donations. The event kicks off after Thanksgiving and runs for three weekends. Christmas trees can be found at each campus with paper ornaments that display gift items for our partners. People may choose an ornament and bring the gift back to their campus, or they may go online to northcoastchurch.com and donate monetarily to any of the organizations.
The paper ornaments can be found at each campus hanging on the Christmas trees. They have the organization name and a gift description. You may select one or as many ornaments as you like, and bring the ornament and the unwrapped gift back by the due date to the campus from which you selected the ornament. There are a variety of physical gifts to choose from that are different than what is posted on the website.
Start with “Choose a Location,” and then browse the organizations your campus is sponsoring or the different ways to participate.
Online, you may purchase a gift card, or make a monetary donation to a non-profit organization. Additional options are available in-person at your campus.
Drop off gifts during weekend services at your campus, but please deliver by the final collection date of December 15. Simply attach the paper ornament to the gift when you bring it to campus.
The North Coast IMPACT Team will deliver gifts to the partner organizations, who will then ensure the gifts are delivered to the appropriate people.
In addition to the gift card option on this website, most campuses will have an option for you to purchase gift cards while on campus. You will have a variety of cards to choose from and may use a credit card, cash or check. The cards will be delivered to the organization via the North Coast IMPACT Team.
No, please only bring new items.
There are a wide variety of gifts to choose from. Give generously if you are able. Gifts are going to people without much this year but there are options ranging from $10 and higher.
If you donated to an organization via the website, the emailed receipt is your donation receipt for tax purposes. If you write a check to “North Coast Church,” your donation will be included on your North Coast Church Contribution Statement, which is made available late January 2025.
All physical gifts and gift cards need to be dropped off at the requesting campus by December 15. Collection will take place at each service from November 30 to December 15. Gifts should be unwrapped, new, and include the paper ornament attached identifying the organization it is intended for.
The gifts support children and adults who have been our community partners throughout the years, in addition to North Coast and Military families in need.
No, bring the gifts unwrapped with the ornament taped on top.
You may donate via credit card on the Christmas Outreach website to a specific organization, or to the General Christmas Outreach fund, which will be distributed to those most in need. Cash or check are also accepted in person.
